Designed by Myron Hunt and Elmer Grey, the same architects who built the mansion, this building was originally Henry Huntington’s private office and recreation room, containing a billiard table and bowling lanes. Now it is a restaurant, serving a popular English tea/luncheon every day but Tuesday. Several productions have used its classical architectural style to represent the White House. The Tea Room is located in the Rose Garden. The Herb Garden is situated along its west side, and the outside eating area for the Cafe is to the east. |
